Auxillary at St. Francis Country House
Since they were chartered in 1914, the Women’s Auxiliary has supported the mission and residents of St. Francis Country House. During the early years, they sponsored Country Fairs and held performed in theatrical productions at the Bellevue Stratford Hotel in Philadelphia to benefit St. Francis. Today, these ladies, including descendants of the original members, continue to work tirelessly throughout the year, planning such memorable events as the Annual Golden Ball and Spring Social to sustain their generous support and tradition of giving. St. Francis Country House residents look forward to attending lovely, private luncheons held at the homes of the Women’s Auxiliary members. Truly, St. Francis Country House would not be what it is today without the continuous support and generosity of this outstanding organization which is an integral part of their Mission and history.
